She's Smiling!

It's so wonderful when babies smile. Lauren started smiling last month and it makes us all so excited when her face lights up. I am always amazed how your child's smile can be so captivating. These days there is more than just on occasional smile....true belly laughs and her little attempts to talk.

One of my favorite interactions to watch is Elise trying to make Lauren smile. That is very heartwarming to watch them interact. Kuddos to Elise for being such a fantastic, loving, big sister! She too is captivated by our little Lauren. Lately, Elise is quite determined to make her little sister smile all the time; although quickly frustrated, like two year olds are, she spends so much time on the floor with Lauren. I am amazed at the photo of how Lauren is watching Elise read, so content.

Lauren will be 3 months tomorrow and I am trying to savor each smile. Because, as we all know, life is precious and it's so easy to let these times pass by too quickly.

Exciting Times For The Hill Family

As life begins to get more chaotic, I am realizing that my dreams for scrapbooking this amazing journey seem more and more out of reach. With that being said, now that we have two amazing girls there are so many wild, fun, memories being made in our home. My hope is that with this blog it will help us document and remember the ordinary things in our home (inspired by Ali Edwards). For instance this picture. Elise and Lauren are so precious and look like they know what each other is thinking, not uncommon for sisters. This photo captures how in love with each other they are. I hope to remember the times such as these. Just an ordinary evening home with the girls. With that being said, I hope this becomes a place for friends and family to enjoy listening to our stories and someday help jog my memory for scraping the precious moments. Hopefully, there will be more to come. We all know with two girls there will always be stories worth remembering and sharing. Enjoy!
